Steve Smith has notched up consecutive centuries for Sydney Sixers in Big Bash League. He has been outstanding for the Sixers this year. He scored 125 off 66 with the help of 5 fours and 9 sixes in today’s match against the Sydney Thunder.
Smith became the first player to score a century for Sydney Sixers in BBL in the previous match. This time around, he became the first batter to score consecutive centuries in BBL. Until the previous match, Steve Smith did not have a T20 century to his name.
Smith remained unbeaten till the end and guided his team to a massive score of 187/2 in 19 overs. In reply, the Sydney Thunder is reeling at 61/9, and we can certainly expect a huge victory for the Sixers.
