Just a few months back a few reports suggested that there is some friction between Virat Kohli and Sourav Ganguly. The reports stated that all these tensions started due to disagreement between Ganguly (BCCI President then) and Kohli (Team India Captain then). In the coming days the picture became more clear and in one of the recent matches between RCB and DC in IPL 2023, one could easily make-out that all those reports were actually true.
During the match, Virat Kohli took his 99th catch in the IPL and gave a fierce stare towards the DC dugout, where Ganguly was sitting.
The former RCB captain also seemed to ignore Sourav Ganguly during the handshake after the match.

Despite the tension between the two, the match ended on a positive note for RCB, who emerged victorious. Kohli’s catch may have added some spice to the match, but ultimately it was RCB’s solid performance that earned them the win.
