Pakistan had won their last three Test matches at home by preparing spin-friendly wickets, but their strategy backfired in the fourth consecutive Test. However, Pakistan struggled in their first innings and were bowled out for 154 runs. Several batsmen got starts but failed to convert them into big scores. Mohammad Rizwan top-scored with 49 runs, while Saud Shakeel added 32. As a result, Pakistan fell behind by 9 runs in the first innings. Nauman Ali picked up 6 wickets for Pakistan, whereas Jomel Warrican took 4 wickets and Gudakesh Motie claimed 3 for West Indies.
In the second innings, West Indies put up a total of 244 runs, setting Pakistan a challenging target of 254. On this turning track, this target seemed big, and it proved to be the case. In the second innings, Kraigg Brathwaite scored 52 runs, Tevin Imlach made 35, and Aamir Jangoo contributed 30. For Pakistan, Sajid Khan and Nauman Ali both took 4 wickets each.
