The West Indies have named a 15-man squad for the upcoming One-Day International (ODI) series against England, starting in Antigua on Thursday and concluding with a match in Barbados on November 6.
The squad features the return of Shimron Hetmyer, who hasn’t played since December of last year. He replaces Alick Athanaze, marking the only change from the team that recently toured Sri Lanka.
West Indies head coach Daren Sammy expressed his enthusiasm for the series, stating, “Playing against England always presents a new challenge and rekindles a rivalry that both the players and the people of the Caribbean are eager to embrace.”
After the ODI series, the West Indies will face England in a five-match T20 series beginning on November 9, with the squad for those matches yet to be announced.
