The final match of T20 World Cup 2024 will be played between India and South Africa. This match will be played in Barbados on 29 June. The Indian team has played the final of the T20 World Cup for the third time. While South Africa has reached this stage for the first time. In such a situation, this is going to be a high voltage final. But, there is a high possibility of rain during the match in Barbados. Now the question arises that if the final match is washed out, then which team will win the trophy? Here in this article we will see who will be declared as the winners.

The final match of the World Cup 2024 will be played between India and South Africa on Saturday, June 29. If we look at the weather prediction of Barbados, then there is a high possibility of rain here on Saturday. There are 74% chances of rain in the morning on June 29 and 42% at night. In such a situation, rain can affect this match. However, the good thing is that the ICC has kept June 30 as a reserve day for the final match. If the India-South Africa match is not held on 29 June, then this match can be played on 30 June.

Now if it rains on 29 June and then on 30 June i.e. on the reserve day of the final match, then who will be the champion? If this question is coming in your mind too, then let us tell you, if the India and South Africa match gets washed out due to rain, then according to the ICC rules, both the teams will be declared joint winners. Yes, if the result of the match between India and South Africa is not declared due to rain or any other reason, then both the teams will be declared joint winners.
