These acquisitions marked them as the two most expensive players ever sold. While other players received substantial bids, the reasons behind these purchases remain undisclosed by the franchises.

His recent standout performance in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, where he maintained an impressive strike rate of 185, further solidified his credentials.
