The West Indies cricket team is set to engage England in a five-match T20 International series commencing on Wednesday, December 13.
The home team enters the T20Is with high spirits following their 2-1 victory over England in the recently concluded three-match ODI series. This win marked the Caribbean outfit’s first ODI series triumph over England at home since 1998.
According to the West Indies vs England T20Is 2023 schedule, the inaugural match of the series will take place at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.
Subsequently, both teams will journey to Grenada for the second and third T20Is scheduled at the Grenada National Cricket Stadium.
The fourth and concluding T20I is slated to be held at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad and Tobago.
Leading into the series, West Indies has disclosed their 15-member squad under the captaincy of Rovman Powell. Wicketkeeper-batsman Shai Hope has been designated as Rovman Powell’s deputy.
Notably, all-rounder Andre Russell makes a comeback to the West Indies T20I squad, marking his return since the 2021 T20 World Cup.
