England’s ODI World Cup squad will see the return of Jofra Archer, albeit as a reserve player, due to his recovery from an elbow injury. National selector Luke Wright confirmed Archer’s inclusion, emphasizing the need to focus on his rehabilitation.

Additionally, young talent Harry Brook has earned his place in the squad, stepping in for the injured Jason Roy. Ben Stokes, who came out of retirement, impressed with a remarkable 182-run innings against New Zealand, setting a new record for England men’s players in ODIs.

Dawid Malan solidified his spot with impressive performances, including his fifth ODI century. Spinner Adil Rashid is cleared for selection after overcoming cramps, while seamer Mark Wood is recovering from a sore heel since the Ashes but is yet to return to competitive cricket.
