India vs Pakistan Match To Get Delayed- Reports

The highly anticipated World Cup match between India and Pakistan, originally scheduled for October 15 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, is likely to be rescheduled due to the clash with the first day of the Navratri festival. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has been advised to reconsider the itinerary by security agencies due to potential security concerns during the festival.

The BCCI is currently considering the advice, and a decision on the match date is expected to be announced soon. If the date is changed, it could pose logistical challenges for fans who have already made travel arrangements and purchased tickets for the original schedule.

After the schedule for the World Cup was released last month, cricket fans eagerly rushed to secure tickets and plan their trips well in advance to avoid last-minute complications. Consequently, room rental prices skyrocketed, reaching over 10 times their usual rates. Additionally, flight ticket prices for October 15, the day of the India vs. Pakistan match, witnessed a sharp surge due to unprecedented demand.
