He questioned the Indian cricket team’s reluctance to travel to Pakistan for the Asia Cup in 2023, despite other Indian sports teams visiting the country recently.

Sethi also responded to the speculation surrounding the venue for the much-anticipated match between Pakistan and India, saying that politics might have been involved in the decision to play in Ahmedabad. He added that it gave the impression that the venue selection was a red herring being thrown in Pakistan’s way to warn them.
