The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has requested input on ticket pricing from all the associations hosting the 2023 World Cup matches. They aim to start online ticket sales by August 10, along with any necessary changes to the event’s schedule. The scheduling matter was discussed among the organizing committee members.

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah previously mentioned that the scheduling issue would be resolved within the next three to four days. Three full member nations have contacted the International Cricket Council (ICC) to request modifications to the schedule. The changes will mainly involve adjusting dates and timings, while venues will remain unchanged. The decision will be made in consultation with the ICC.

Regarding the highly anticipated match between India and Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Shah stated that decisions about its rescheduling will also be determined soon. He reassured that there are no security concerns for this high-profile match.

The Cricket World Cup 2023 will feature 48 games taking place in 10 cities from October 5 to November 19. The opening match between England and New Zealand is set to be held in Ahmedabad.
