The ICC World Cup 2023 Trophy Tour has recently completed its highly successful stops in New Zealand and Australia. Prior to visiting Oceania, the coveted trophy embarked on an extraordinary journey to Space before making its way back to India, the host country for the upcoming World Cup. With its profound importance in the cricketing world, the prestigious trophy has been deeply resonating with fans all across the globe.

In Auckland, the trophy made a special visit to the renowned Eden Park stadium, paying tribute to its historical significance. Back in the 2015 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, this iconic venue hosted the thrilling semi-final match between New Zealand and South Africa. Grant Elliott, the match’s hero, warmly received the trophy and took a seat in a designated green chair, symbolizing the spot where his unforgettable six led the Black Caps to victory in the last over.

In this prestigious city, the iconic MCG stadium became the venue for a tribute to the legendary cricketer Shane Warne. During the event, the trophy was proudly displayed beneath the newly renamed Shane Warne Stand, paying homage to the cricketing great.

In Melbourne, the cricket enthusiasts gathered around the statue of the late spin legend, fondly recalling his exceptional player-of-the-match display in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 1999 semi-final, where Australia faced South Africa.
