World Test Championship (WTC) Final Scenario for India
India needs to win the Test series against Australia either by 3-1, or 2-1 or draw the series by 2-2 to qualify for the World Test Championship Final in 2023. If the Indian team manages to draw the series 1-1 then South Africa can qualify for the WTC Final by beating West Indies 2-0 in the upcoming Test series between the two nations.
Meanwhile, Australia is already in the final as they can only be ousted from the WTC final race if they lose 4-0 against India and then Sri Lanka defeats New Zealand 2-0 in New Zealand. Both of these outcomes are quite unlikely.
