Cricket Australia has unveiled their 17-member squad for the World Test Championship Final against India at the Oval and the Ashes. The team management has called back all-rounder Mitchell Marsh, Josh Inglis, and opening batter Marcus Harris ahead of the English summer.
Pat Cummins, who missed the third and fourth Tests of the BGT to take care of his unwell mother, will take over as captain of the team. Steven Smith, who led Australia in the final two tests, has been reappointed as Vice-Captain.
David Warner, who suffered an elbow injury during the Test series against India in February, has also made it into the squad despite a slump in his batting performance.
Four specialist quicks— Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, and Scott Boland, along with seam allrounders– Cameron Green and Marsh, and spinners– Nathan Lyon and Todd Murphy, has made up to the squad.
