Jadeja once again proved to be the shining light for India, displaying remarkable composure under pressure. His innings came at a crucial time when the team was in a precarious position during the all-important Final.

In response to Australia’s 469 runs, India faced a challenging period as they lost four wickets in quick succession, leaving them struggling at 71/4. It was in this testing situation that Ravindra Jadeja walked in to join forces with Ajinkya Rahane, aiming to rescue the innings.

Jadeja exhibited perfect timing and played some breathtaking shots. Although he was set for a big score, his innings was curtailed by Nathan Lyon. Nevertheless, the all-rounder managed to score 48 runs, alleviating the pressure on India.

Manjrekar commended Jadeja for his confidence in leaving deliveries outside the off-stump, expressing his high expectations for the player. He exudes confidence in leaving balls outside the off-stump.”
