Faf du Plessis, a cricketing legend for South Africa, expressed his appreciation for his home nation’s cricketing strength and considered South Africa a formidable contender. He emphasized the tough competition posed by the Indian team, particularly in their home environment. Additionally, he pointed out Australia’s history of success in ICC events, making them another team worth keeping an eye on.

“I think South Africa has got a really good side. It will be hard to get past a team like India in home conditions.
