Faf du Plessis, a cricketing legend for South Africa, expressed his appreciation for his home nation’s cricketing strength and considered South Africa a formidable contender. He emphasized the tough competition posed by the Indian team, particularly in their home environment. “I think South Africa has got a really good side. It will be hard to get past a team like India in home conditions. The other team you can never write off is Australia, with them being so successful in ICC events,” Faf Du Plessis remarked in a conversation with the International Cricket Council (ICC).
