Watch: Iftikhar Ahmed Smashes 6 Sixes against Wahab Riaz in PSL Exhibition Match. An exhibition match between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi was played at Quetta Stadium today before the start of PSL 2023.
The Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam won the toss and opted to field first. The Zalmi started well and dismissed Umar Akmal and other top-order batters early without giving away too many runs. Wahab Riaz was looking threatening with the ball.
However, Iftikhar was in a different mood than other Quetta Gladiators players. He played his own game and smashed the Zalmi bowlers all around the park. In the last over of the Quetta Gladiators inning, Iftikhar Ahmed went berserk and smashed 6 sixes in an over against Wahab Riaz.

The fireworks from Iftikhar Ahmed helped the Gladiators pile up 184 runs in 20 overs. Chasing 185, Babar Azam & Co managed to score 181 runs and lost the match by three runs.
Khushdil Shah was the second-highest scorer for Gladiators with 36 runs. Wahab Riaz ultimately finished with 3 wickets for 47 runs in his quota of 4 overs.
