Sunrisers Hyderabad is yet to announce its captain for the IPL 2023. Last year the franchise was captained by Kane Williamson, who is no longer with the side as he was released before the mini auction. Now, SRH needs to decide the captain for the upcoming season, and they have plenty of players who can take up the leadership role.

SRH IPL 2023 Captain
SRH has many choices to make, but the most important is selecting the captain. They have leaders like Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mayanak Agarwal and Aiden Markram, who know how to lead a side in T20s. Recently, Aiden Markram guided the Sunrisers Eastern to a tournament victory in SA20 League. Markram hinted that he is capable of guiding SRH in IPL 2023. On the other hand, the young left-handed batter Abhishek Sharma has also shown his interest in becoming the captain of SRH. However, it seems that SRH will go with Aiden Markram as captain.
SRH will start its IPL 2023 with a match against Rajasthan Royals on 2nd April 2023.
