    Shoaib Akhtar, the Rawalpindi Express, is known for his explosive speed and ferocity on the cricket pitch. He holds the record for the fastest ball ever bowled in cricket, clocking in at 161.3 kph against New Zealand in 2002.

    Recently, the 47-year-old spoke to Suno News HD about that memorable year and revealed a surprising decision he made when he turned down Pakistan’s captaincy offer in 2002.

    Akhtar explained that he was not fit enough to take on the role and also criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board for their poor management and acceptance of mediocrity.

    The outspoken former cricketer also expressed his disappointment with the current state of the PCB, stating that there seems to be nothing the board can handle.
