The 16th edition of the Indian Premier League will be starting from March 31 and the last league match will be played on May 21. Defending Champions Gujarat Titans will be facing Chennai Super Kings in the opening encounter.   

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will play their opening game of IPL 2023 against Delhi Capitals on April 1 (Saturday) at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

1.  KL Rahul

KL Rahul has been a consistent performer in the Indian Premier League. Last season, KL Rahul smashed 616 runs in 15 games at an average of 51.33 and a strike rate of 135+ including 2 centuries and 4 half-centuries. Rahul can definitely grab the man of the tournament award. 

2. Ravi Bishnoi

Ravi Bishnoi is well known for his economical bowling and sharp ‘googlies’. The leg-spinner also has the ability to take wickets in the powerplay overs. Ravi Bishnoi gave a good performance last season. In 14 games, he bagged 13 wickets at an average of 35.07 and an economy of 8.44.

3. Deepak Hooda

Deepak Hooda is a hard-hitter who can build innings as well as score quick runs for the team when needed. The right-handed batsman performed brilliantly in the last season, mustering 451 runs in 15 games at an average of 32.21 and a strike rate of 136+ including 4 half-centuries.
