    After a month of red ball action, Team India and Australia will now face each other in the white ball format, starting with the first ODI of the three-match series at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Friday (March 17).

    Hardik Pandya will lead Team India in Rohit Sharma’s absence in the 1st ODI, while Steve Smith will continue in his stand-in skipper’s role.

    During the ODI series, some players have a chance to cross personal milestones in the 50-over format.

    Here Are 5 Big Approaching Milestones In The India vs Australia ODI series:

    1. Virat Kohli close to 13000 ODI runs

    Virat Kohli is just 191 runs away to complete 13000 ODI runs. Virat Kohli is currently standing with 12809 runs in ODIs. He will become the fifth player to score 13000 runs in the format if he does so. 

    2. Most 100s in ODIs

    If Kohli manages to score a hundred in all the three matches, he can go level with legendary Sachin Tendulkar for most hundreds in ODIs. 

    Virat Kohli: 46 100s 

    Sachin Tendulkar: 49 100s

    3. Rohit Sharma close to 10000 ODI runs

    Rohit Sharma is just 218 runs away to complete 10000 ODI runs. Rohit Sharma is currently standing with 9782 runs in ODIs. He will become the sixth Indian to complete 10000 runs in ODIs if he does so.

    4. Steve Smith close to 5000 ODI runs

    Steve Smith is just 83 runs away from completing 5000 runs in the format. He is currently standing with 4917 runs in ODIs.

    5. Rahul, Marsh and Head close to 2000 ODI runs

    While Rahul needs 130 runs to reach the milestone, Head needs another 177 runs and Marsh needs 186 runs to score 2000 runs in ODIs.
