The IPL is the most-awaited cricket league in the world, and with the 16th edition scheduled to start on March 31, the excitement levels are at an all-time high. With the league expanded to 10 teams this year, the players’ auction witnessed some of the biggest purchases and surprising snubs. While many players were roped in at high prices, some unfortunately have to miss out due to injuries.

Here are three overseas players who will be missed in the upcoming IPL 2023 season.

    1) Will Jacks – INR 3.2 Crore

England’s Will Jacks was picked up by the Royal Challengers Bangalore for a massive sum of INR 3.2 crores. Unfortunately, he suffered a thigh injury during the Bangladesh series, ruling him out of the upcoming IPL season. Surrey hasn’t given a timeline for his return, putting his World Cup dreams in jeopardy.

Jamieson is undergoing treatment and will need a few months to recover fully.
