IPL 2023 is all set to kick off with an epic clash between the defending champions Gujarat Titans and the four time champions Chennai Super Kings. The match will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. MS Dhoni will lead the men in yellow while Hardik Pandya is going to lead the current champions.
However, before the match Chennai Super Kings have suffered a huge blow as Sisanda Magala is set to join with CSK squad on 3rd April 2023 and this will make him miss the first match of the tournament. Sisanda Magala was brought into the CSK squad as replacement for Kyle Jamieson.

The South African team management has named a full strength squad for the ODIs against Netherlands which will be played on 31st March and 2nd April. Unfortunately, for Chennai Super Kings, Sisanda Magala is one of the key players in South Africa set-up and he will miss the match against Chennai Super Kings.
