However, this target was never going to be enough on the Wankhede Stadium pitch. Devon Conway was dismissed on a duck, but Ajinkya Rahane played a blinder and ensured that CSK walked away with a comfortable victory in the match.
Rahane smashed 61 off 27, and CSK ended up winning by 7 wickets in the end.
