IPL 2023: BAD NEWS for RCB fans as Virat Kohli is at the risk of getting ‘BANNED’ for a match

If Virat Kohli captains RCB in the upcoming match, then he will have to be careful, otherwise he can get a big punishment.

The RCB team is going good in IPL 2023, winning 4 out of their 7 games in the tournament so far. However, the team has not looked good with their over-rate in almost all the matches till now as the side has already been fined for slow over-rate twice in this season.

In the match against RR on April 23, RCB was fined for slow over-rate for the second time in the tournament. This time the fine was imposed not only on the captain of the team, but also on the entire team. Kohli was fined Rs 24 lakh. At the same time, other players of RCB were also punished by deducting 25 percent of their match fee.

Now the question arises– What will happen if the team commits the same mistake for the 3rd time in this season?

In the match against RR, a fine of Rs 24 lakh was imposed on Virat and Rs 6 lakh each, or 25 percent of the match, on other players of the playing-11, including the impact player. Earlier, RCB captain Faf Duplessis was fined after the loss against Lucknow Supergiants. Due to the second mistake of the team, this time a big penalty has been imposed. Now if the team commits this mistake once again, then the captain may be banned for one or more matches. In such a situation, if Virat captains in the upcoming match, then he will have to be careful, otherwise he can get a big punishment.
