IPL 2023 | RR vs MI: Dhruv Jurel is Proud of MS Dhoni Run-Out, says “I Consider it as a Career Highlight”

Rajasthan Royals batter Dhruv Jurel expressed his excitement about being run out by none other than Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni in a recent IPL match. Jurel, who played a crucial cameo innings of 34 runs off 15 balls in the match, said that seeing his name next to Dhoni’s on the scorecard would be enough for him to feel proud even after 20 years.

In a video released by the Rajasthan Royals on their official YouTube channel, Jurel shared his elation about the run-out, stating that it would be a memory that stays with him for a long time. The 22-year-old batter expressed his admiration for Dhoni, calling it an honor to share the field with him. Jurel further added that he has been watching Dhoni play since he was a child and that it serves as motivation for him.

He will next be seen in action when the Rajasthan Royals take on the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on April 30.
