Neeraj Pandey, a famous Bollywood director, has come up with the trailer of the documentary depicting India’s famous Test series win against Australia in Australia in 2021. The documentary is titled “Bandon Mein Tha Dum”.
The documentary will feature the remarkable turnaround by the young Indian team to register a historic series win in the absence of many senior players. India was without the services of its main players like Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara and Ravichandran Ashwin.
While Virat Kohli came back to India to witness the birth of his daughter, many other senior players were sidelined due to an injury. No one gave the young Indian team any chances as they were already down 0-1 in the Test series before Virat Kohli left for India. However, the team defied expectations and came out victorious to stun the Australian fans.

Indian team’s victory in the final Test at Gabba is still etched into the memory of every cricket lover. The historic win made a star out of Rishabh Pant and Shubman Gill who played extraordinary knocks under pressure in the fourth innings of the Test match to help India seal the series by registering the victory. Ultimately India won the series by 2-1.
However, the series is also historic because no one gave the Indian team any chance, and there were no big names on the Indian side. Many new players stood up and filled the space of the greats of the Indian team to register an emphatic victory. Hanuma Vihari’s and Ravichandran Ashwin’s valiant effort to secure a draw despite suffering from injuries was one of the highlights of the series.
Mohammed Siraj led the pack of Indian fast bowlers in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah and Ishant Sharma. He took his first wicket haul in the series to help India inch toward a great comeback. Cheteshwar Pujara’s inspiring knock where he stood tall even after taking many body blows against the bowlers like Mitchell Starch, and Pat Cummins can never be forgotten. Washington Sundar’s dream run in the series was also one of the highlights for India. Overall, everyone contributed to make the historic win happen.
