To account for uncertainties, the ICC has scheduled a reserve day on November 20, starting at 2 PM, in case the match remains incomplete on the scheduled day. The ICC aims to complete the game on the scheduled day, even if overs need to be reduced. However, if a minimum of 20 overs per side cannot be bowled, the match will continue on the reserve day. If no play is possible despite extended time, the entire game will be played on the reserve day as a full fifty-over match.
Additionally, the ICC allows umpires to assign an extra 120 minutes on both Sunday and Monday (reserve day) to conclude the match. In the event of a tie, teams will participate in a Super Over, with subsequent Super Overs played until a clear winner emerges. If the match is abandoned or has no result at the end of the reserve day, both teams will be declared joint winners, sharing the prize money of $4 million, as per ICC regulations.
