The 26-year-old spinner, known for his exceptional T20 skills, was signed by SRH at his base price of INR 1.50 crores. Having started his IPL journey with Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2021, Wanindu Hasaranga played only two games in his debut season. However, he made a significant impact in 2022, picking up an impressive 26 wickets in 16 games, including a memorable 5-wicket haul. The following year, in 2023, he had a more modest performance, securing 9 wickets in 8 games. Overall, Hasaranga has 35 wickets in 26 IPL games.
