Rishabh Pant was involved in a massive car crash just before the start of 2023 and this ruled him out of the IPL 2023 and the following cricketing events that India played including the ICC ODI World Cup 2023.
Sourav Ganguly, the Director of Cricket for Delhi Capitals has made it clear that Rishabh Pant is going to play in the IPL 2024. Recently, Pant was also seen in the IPL 2024 Auction in Dubai alongside the owners of DC, Ricky Ponting and Sourav Ganguly.
Rishabh Pant posted a picture on the Instagram in which he showcased his legs to announce that the recovery is going good and he will participate in the IPL 2024. Pant was also spotted with MS Dhoni during the Christmas time and the rumours of him joining CSK to captain the team from IPL 2025 are also catching fire.

However, currently the main question is whether Rishabh Pant will keep the wickets for DC and also captain the side in IPL 2024. It seems that Pant is going to play only as a batter and that too as an impact player for the Delhi Capitals in IPL 2024.
He is yet to completely recover and will require a lot of practice before he can field or keep wickets for 20 overs.
