However, the most devastating news is that Rishabh Pant has badly injured his right knee. Doctors have confirmed that there is a ligament tear in his right knee.
This confirmation from the doctors have raised questions about Rishabh Pant’s wicketkeeping. Even after full recovery Rishabh Pant will not be able to do wicketkeeping for quite a significant amount of time. Indian team will have to look for other wicketkeeper batters in the longest format of the game for at least the entirety of this year.
