Rishabh Pant was involved in a severe car accident in which his Mercedes AMG burnt to ashes. Thankfully, he jumped out of the car before it caught fire. However, Rishabh Pant did not leave unscathed and suffered many injuries which will require a very long time to heal. According to the recent reports Rishabh Pant is undergoing treatment at Max Hospital in Dehradun.

When will Rishabh Pant be able to do the wicketkeeping for India in cricket?

He recently got plastic surgery done to remove the abrasions on his skin after the accident. Reportedly his toe, wrist and back will take 2-3 months to heal completely. However, the most devastating news is that Rishabh Pant has badly injured his right knee. Doctors have confirmed that there is a ligament tear in his right knee.

This confirmation from the doctors have raised questions about Rishabh Pant’s wicketkeeping. Even after full recovery Rishabh Pant will not be able to do wicketkeeping for quite a significant amount of time. Indian team will have to look for other wicketkeeper batters in the longest format of the game for at least the entirety of this year.

Rishabh Pant, the rising star in cricket world has suffered a devastating fate but the good news is that he is out of any sort of danger and we can expect him to don the gloves for India as early as January 2024. Many cricketers have expressed their prayers on Twitter for the speedy recovery of Rishabh Pant.
