Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer has come out in support of Kuldeep Yadav after his match-turning performance in the ongoing 2nd ODI between India and Sri Lanka. The domestic cricket legend Wasim Jaffer Tweeted that Kuldeep Yadav gets limited chances in the Indian team but always impresses with his impactful performances.
Kuldeep Yadav has dismissed Dasun Shanaka, the dangerous Sri Lankan skipper who scored an unbeaten century in the previous match against India. He also accounted for the wickets of well-set Kusal Mendis and Charith Asalanka.
In his 8 overs so far, he has picked 3 wickets by giving away only 40 runs. Kuldeep Yadav replaced Yuzvendra Chahal in the Indian playing XI today. He was the only change made to the Indian cricket team in today’s match against Sri Lanka.
