‘Magical Siraj is the best Indian bowler at the moment’ – Fans bow down to the pacer’s ODI performances via Twitter

Mohammed Siraj, Team India’s fast bowler, continues to impress fans with his performances in the ongoing ODI series against Sri Lanka. In the second ODI at the Eden Gardens on January 12th, Siraj took 3 wickets and only gave up 30 runs in 5.4 overs, including dismissing Avishka Fernando in the sixth over and then cleaning up the tail-enders as Sri Lanka only managed to put 215 runs onboard.

Siraj had a successful year in 2022, being India’s highest wicket-taker in ODIs with 24 scalps in 15 games and an average of 23.50. In the first ODI against Sri Lanka, he also took 2 wickets giving 30 runs in his seven overs, including a maiden.

His impressive performances have not gone unnoticed by the Indian cricket team management and selectors, who are sure to consider him for the upcoming World Cup. Siraj’s ability to take wickets at crucial moments and his accuracy have made him a valuable asset to the team.

Siraj’s journey to the national team has been a remarkable one. The right-arm pacer made his international debut in November 2017, but it was only in 2022 that he established himself as a regular member of the Indian team.
