Sunil Gavaskar on Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli, who has had a remarkable career so far, with 46 ODI hundreds, 1 T20I hundred and 27 Test hundreds to his name. He is already considered one of the greats of the modern era and is known for his aggressive playing style and ability to perform on the biggest stages.

Sunil Gavaskar, widely considered one of the greatest cricketers of all time, has high praise for Virat Kohli’s dedication and passion for the sport. Gavaskar stated, “Virat is a player who is always striving to improve, he puts in a lot of hard work and always aims to score runs. He possesses a strong desire to score a century every time he steps on the field.”

Kohli’s recent form has been impressive, with a century in the opening and concluding ODI matches against Sri Lanka. He also scored another century in the third ODI against Bangladesh in December 2022. With the World Cup set to be played in the second half of 2023, many are excited to see King Kohli lift his second World Cup on home soil.

Tendulkar, who held the record of 100 international hundreds for over a decade, is considered one of the greatest cricketers of all time. His records are considered some of the toughest to beat. If Kohli were to reach the milestone of 100 international hundreds, it would cement his place as one of the greatest players of all time.

The cricketing world will be watching with bated breath as Virat Kohli continues to chase the record set by Tendulkar.
