ICC officials inspected Lahore’s famous Gaddafi Stadium, Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, and Karachi National Stadium. During the visit, they reviewed the security measures, infrastructure, and other key arrangements of the stadiums. Pakistani media reported that during a meeting with PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi, security arrangements for the Champions Trophy were also discussed.

Champions Trophy to be held in Pakistan

As per Pakistani media reports, the ICC delegation expressed satisfaction with the arrangements made in Karachi and Rawalpindi for the Champions Trophy. They were also content with the security measures in place. PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi assured world-class arrangements for the ICC Champions Trophy. This indicates that the hosting rights for the Champions Trophy are likely to remain with Pakistan.

According to Pakistani media, Mohsin Naqvi stated that the upgradation work on the stadiums will be completed before the Champions Trophy at all costs. He assured that all players will enjoy playing cricket in a peaceful and secure environment.
