Record #1: The Most Whitewashes as an Indian Captain in the Bilateral Series

Rohit Sharma has always been known for his excellent captaincy skills, and he proved that yet again in the 3rd ODI. With the 3-0 series win over New Zealand, Rohit has now recorded his 8th whitewash as Indian captain in international cricket, surpassing Virat Kohli’s record of 7 whitewashes.

Record #2: The Batter with the Joint-Third Most ODI Centuries

After a long wait of three years, Rohit Sharma scored his 30th ODI century in Indore. With this milestone, he became the batter with the joint-third-most one-day international centuries alongside Australian legend Ricky Ponting (30). Only Sachin Tendulkar (49) and Virat Kohli (46) have scored more centuries than Rohit in 50-over cricket.

Rohit Sharma also reached another milestone by hitting the third-most maximums in one-day internationals. He clobbered six maximums during his 101-run knock, taking his six-hitting tally to 273 in one-day cricket.
