After a period of injuries and poor form, Rohit finally broke free from the shackles during the series against Sri Lanka. Fans around the world have been praising his performance, with many declaring him the greatest of all-time. Rohit surpassed Mohammad Yusuf and became the 15th highest run getter in ODI cricket with the 3rd highest average of 48.9.
