Afghanistan cricket team created history by winning its first ever T20I series against Pakistan. The first match of the series was won by Afghanistan while chasing a paltry target and the second match of the series was won by the Afghani after fighting hard against the Pakistani bowlers to chase the target of 131 runs.
The second T20I went to the wire and the Afghanistan cricket team registered the epic win on the 2nd last ball of the match. Najibullah Zadran hit the winning runs. He played a crucial unbeaten knock of 23* off 12.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored 44 off 49, Ibrahim Zadran scored 38 off 40 and Mohammad Nabi scored 14* off 9 in the Afghanistan win.
Earlier in the match, Imad Wasim scored 64 off 57 while Shadab Khan scored 32 off 25 to help Pakistan reach 130 runs. Fazalhaq Farooqi was named player of the match for picking two wickets.
