All You Need to Know about Yash Dubey: The Centurion in Ranji Trophy Final

Yash Dubey, the rising star of cricket from Madhya Pradesh, made a statement in the Ranji Trophy Final against Mumbai. The right-handed batter dominated the Prithvi Shaw-led side to put Madhya Pradesh in command. It was his second hundred of the competition, and it could not have come at a better time. He celebrated by shutting the noise around him.

Dream run in Ranji Trophy 2022:

Yash Dubey has scored two centuries so far in this year’s Ranji Trophy. His first hundred came against Saurashtra. He played an enthralling knock of 289 runs that showed his immense talent to the world. He has already amassed six hundred runs in the ongoing season of the Ranji Trophy and can still go further. His average is getting closer to 100 this season. As of this moment, his average is 96.8.

Early Life:

Yash Dubey was born on 23rd December 1998 in a small village called Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh. He had a keen interest in sports since his childhood. Especially his interest in cricket made him pursue the path of becoming a cricketer.

Debut and Rise of Yash Dubey:

Yash Dubey debuted for his domestic team Madhya Pradesh in the List-A cricket in 2018-19. He was included as an opener in Vijay Hazare Trophy. Later on 1st November 2018, he made his first-class debut for Madhya Pradesh in Ranji Trophy. In addition to batting, Yash Dubey can also bowl part-time Legbreak Googly.

However, he did not shoot to fame instantly and worked hard to improve himself to achieve his dreams and aspirations. In the current Ranji Trophy, he is among the highest run-getter and stands a chance of bringing the trophy to his side. He has an overall average of 46.17 in first-class cricket. As of now, he has scored 1,339 runs in 21 matches.
