Ruturaj Gaikwad has been named the captain of the Indian squad for the Hangzhou Asian Games, and Rinku Singh, a prominent player from the Indian Premier League (IPL), has also earned a deserved place in the team.
After facing queries regarding his absence from the T20 series in the Caribbean, Rinku has now successfully secured a spot in the squad for the Asian Games, which are set to be held from September 23 to October 8.
Due to the overlapping schedules of the Asian Games and the start of the ODI World Cup, a secondary team has been assembled to represent India in the continental games.
