Representing your country in the World Cup and winning it is the biggest dream a player could have. However, there are many unlucky cricketers who have represented their country in many international matches, but never got the privilege to do so in the World Cup.

But what if I tell you that there is a player who got the opportunity to lift the World Cup trophy with his team even though he didn’t play a single international match for his country?

    So who is that cricketer?

His name is Sunil Valson. Cricketer Sunil Valson of India is the only player to win a World Cup without even playing an international match! Valson was the part of the 14 member squad of the 1983 world cup winning Indian team. Valson in fact never made his international debut!
