Duleep Trophy 2024: Full Schedule, Live Match Timings, Streaming and Venue

India’s domestic cricket season for 2024-25 is set to begin on September 5, 2024, and will take place at two venues: Bengaluru, Karnataka, and Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. The IDFC First Bank Duleep Trophy 2024, a first-class cricket tournament, will feature four teams competing for the first domestic title of the season.

In its 61st edition, the Duleep Trophy will adopt a new format, featuring four teams named India A, B, C, and D, selected by the national selectors. These teams will compete in a round-robin group stage, with each team playing three matches. The tournament champion will be determined based on points at the end of the six-match series, with all matches being four-day First-Class encounters.

The captains for these four sides are well-known names in Indian cricket. India A will be led by Shubman Gill, India’s white-ball captain. India B will be captained by Abhimanyu Easwaran, a prominent figure in domestic cricket. Chennai Super Kings skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad will lead India C, while Shreyas Iyer, IPL winner and Kolkata Knight Riders captain, will head India D.

Several capped Indian players such as KL Rahul, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Arshdeep Singh, Ishan Kishan, Axar Patel, and others will be in action, along with a mix of emerging talents and seasoned domestic players.
