According to ex-Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh, Varun Chakravarthy, the star spinner of Kolkata Knight Riders, has the potential to make a comeback to the Indian team in the near future. Varun Chakravarthy was in the T20I 2021 World Cup Squad and didn’t impress much. His fitness and frequent injuries were always on the negative side for him.
During his time with Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2021, Harbhajan Singh observed that Varun Chakravarthy faced several thigh-related issues but still played remarkably well even after receiving multiple injections. Currently, Varun has shed some weight and resolved his knee problems, resulting in an overall improvement in his performance. As a result, he is now in contention for a spot on the Indian team in the near future, according to Harbhajan Singh.
Varun Chakravarthy’s performance in this IPL edition has been fantastic till now. He is currently the most successful bowler for KKR in this IPL with 17 wickets in just 11 matches.
