Speculation and anticipation are mounting regarding the announcement of the ICC World Cup 2023 schedule. According to a report, the International Cricket Council (ICC) will reveal the schedule on June 27, which marks 100 days before the commencement of the tournament.
Initially, it was expected that the schedule would be announced shortly after the conclusion of the World Test Championship. However, the announcement was delayed due to the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) dissatisfaction with the draft presented by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to the ICC.

Reports indicate that the PCB is seeking a change of venue, leading to the delay in finalizing the schedule.
Najam Sethi, who recently resigned from his position as interim Chairman, stated that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has informed the International Cricket Council (ICC) that they cannot provide approval or disapproval for the World Cup schedule. According to Sethi, the decision lies with the Pakistani government, similar to how the Indian government determines when their team travels to play.
