ICC World Cup 2023: BCCI Provides Updates on Return Dates of Bumrah, Iyer, Rahul and Pant

Jasprit Bumrah has been out of the Indian cricket team since September 2022, following his withdrawal from the T20I series against South Africa after two games against Australia. He missed the subsequent Asia Cup, T20 World Cup, and the WTC final against Australia due to a back injury. Bumrah attempted a return during the series against Sri Lanka earlier this year but was deemed unfit by the BCCI. After undergoing back surgery, he has been undergoing rigorous fitness training at the NCA. His availability for the upcoming Asia Cup and ODI World Cup is being closely monitored by the team management.
