The Indian skipper Rohit Sharma led from the front on day 2 of the 1st Test match between India and Australia by scoring a century in the tough times when Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara fell like a pack of cards against the Australian bowling line-up. Rohit Sharma became the first Indian skipper to score centuries in all three formats of the game. This was his 9th Test century. With this century, Rohit Sharma has the best conversion rate among Indian batters in India in Test cricket. He scored 120 off 212 with the help of 15 fours and 2 sixes before being bowled out by Pat Cummins.

He then dropped Jadeja, who is probably going to hurt the Australian on day 3 of the 1st Test match.
