In a stunning display of spin bowling, Ravi Ashwin has struck twice in an over, claiming the prized wickets of Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith, leaving Australia struggling at 94 for 3 down.

The second Test of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy has already provided a thrilling spectacle for cricket fans, with Ashwin putting in a masterclass in the art of spin bowling. The off-spinner has now taken 2 wickets in the innings, completing 700 first-class wickets in the process.

It all began when Labuschagne, who walked back after scoring 18 runs, leaving the visitors reeling at 91-2.

Ashwin wasn’t done yet, as he continued to apply pressure on the Australian batter. In his next over, he removed the dangerous Steve Smith for a duck.

The Indian fans at the stadium erupted in joy, as they watched their hero once again weaving his magic with the ball. Ashwin, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest Red Ball bowlers, has been instrumental in India’s success in Test cricket over the years.
