India is going to take on England from 25th January 2024 in the five match Test Series which is scheduled to be played in India. Recently, India lost the first Test against South Africa and Mohammed Shami’s absence was definitely felt.

In a huge blow to India, Mohammed Shami could also be ruled out of the Test Series against England. He is suffering from a left heel injury and took injections during the ODI World Cup 2023 to manage his pain.

“Shami has a chronic left heel issue. A lot of people don’t know that he took injections regularly during World Cup and played the entire tournament through pain,” a former Bengal teammate of Shami told PTI.

India would be in huge trouble against England if Shami is unavailable as he is bowling exceptionally well while Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj seems to be struggling nowadays.
