India and New Zealand are scheduled to play a three-match ODI series from 18th January 2023. The first match of the series is going to be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The series can decide the fate of the number one team in all formats.

If India clean sweeps the New Zealand cricket team in the upcoming ODI series, they will climb to the top of the ICC ODI team’s ranking table. India is already number 1 in Tests and T20s, and this is the golden chance for India to claim the number 1 ranking in all three formats.

India is now in the fourth position in the ICC Men’s ODI team rankings with a rating of 110, while New Zealand is at the top of the table with a rating of 117. New Zealand saved its number 1 position in the series against Pakistan by winning the series 2-1.

Tom Latham is going to lead the New Zealand cricket team in the absence of Kane Williamson. On the other hand, Rohit Sharma is going to lead the Indian team, but Shreyas Iyer, Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah have missed out due to injuries. KL Rahul and Axar Patel are also unavailable due to family commitments.
